[Hong Kong, Sep 11, 2025] – The Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy (APIFS) has announced a strategic collaboration with the Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone and its Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office to advance innovation, trade, and cross-border business collaboration in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Dr. Mark Lee, Research Director of APIFS, recently met with Mr. Tim Yu, Deputy Director General, and Ms. Ally Zhang, Director of the Center for Promotion of Nansha–Hong Kong–Macao Cooperation, to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening regional business ecosystems.

The partnership will focus on:

• Deepening GBA Business Connectivity: Facilitating collaboration between Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other major GBA cities to enhance trade, investment, and market opportunities.
• Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support: Leveraging Nansha’s position as a key free trade and innovation hub to attract high-potential startups, promote digital transformation, and foster cross-border talent exchange.
• Strategic Advisory and Leadership Development: Offering APIFS’s research-based advisory and leadership development programs to empower business executives in the region to navigate economic challenges and capture growth opportunities.
• Sustainability and ESG Collaboration: Supporting ESG initiatives and green innovation to align with China’s sustainable growth vision and the GBA’s long-term development strategy.

Dr. Lee emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating:
